Pete is a Bay Area native with an acute understanding of the startup ecosystem and clients trust Pete to bring a practical, common-sense approach to legal practice that emphasizes getting the deal done with minimal legal friction and churn.

Pete has over ten years of experience guiding commercial deal strategy and structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex commercial and technology-driven agreements, including software and API licenses, collaboration agreements, SaaS agreements, data licenses, reseller and referral agreements, services agreements, patent licenses, university licenses, product integration agreements, and other revenue-driving agreements. Pete also advises on IP issues in corporate transactions, such as financings and mergers and acquisitions, as well as on ancillary issues like privacy and data protection.

Prior to Presidio, Pete served at some of the country’s top-ranked law firms and at various in-house roles, including at Uber Technologies, Inc. during its period of hypergrowth. In his spare time, Pete likes to frequent wine country with his wife and dogs, watch the 49ers try to get their sixth ring, and listen to bebop.
