Matt Muir

Matt represents startups and emerging growth companies across their lifecycle, including formation and structuring, equity and debt financings, day-to-day corporate governance, employment matters, and general counseling.

Prior to working with Presidio Legal, Matt was a Corporate Associate at Goodwin Procter, where he represented private companies and venture capital investors across formation, venture financings, and corporate governance. Before becoming a lawyer, Matt founded a startup and worked with the Office of the General Counsel at Latham & Watkins and Hogan Lovells.

Matt can be found with friends in the mountains, skiing, climbing or surfing. He has visited the highest point in all 50 states and volunteers with the Bay Area Mountain Rescue Unit.
